Discovery’ Is A Low Maintenance Apple Tree Variety Which Is Very Popular For Small And Medium Sized Gardens. Its Small To Medium Sized Fruits Have A Sweet, Slightly Acidic Flavour, And Can Be Ready For Harvesting As Early As August. Its Firm, Juicy Texture Becomes Slightly Softer When Mature. They Have Generally Good Keeping Qualities In Cold Places And Store Well In A Fridge. The Fruits Have Yellow-Green Skin With Reddish Patches, Which May Slightly Bleed Into The Flesh. ‘Discovery’ Has Been Awarded The Award Of Garden Merit Given By The Royal Horticultural Society (Rhs), Which Helps Gardeners Make Informed Choices About Plants.
